Look at the pictures on each page.  What do you think might happen?

Possible Responses: 

  • They are going to eat a lot of cookies, get sick, and feed them to the birds.
  • They will bake cookies together.
  • They will get really sick from eating so many cookies.
  • The cookies are so good that they share them with the birds.

Why do you think they did not keep the cookies, and just stop eating them and save them for later?   

At the end of the book, Frog said they had no cookies left, but still had will power.  Did they really have will power to stop eating the cookies?  (Explore)
